Anthropic's Q3 revenue reportedly hits $16.8B pre-IPO, $1.70 back per $1 of compute

According to the Financial Times and WSJ, Anthropic's Q3 revenue reportedly reached $16.8 billion ahead of an IPO, and the company told investors it was cash-flow positive — generating $1.70 in revenue per dollar of compute spend. Investors expect $110 billion in annualized revenue by year-end, against a reported $1.2 trillion valuation.
The poster is skeptical: Google alone made $120B revenue in a single quarter (Q2, $112B profit), and far more people he knows use Gemini than Claude — so he thinks $1.2T is overvalued.
