TechNadu · x · 2026-10-15
The UK Legal Aid Agency updated its assessment of the 2025 cyberattack: around 250,000 exfiltrated records predate 2007, with the oldest verified record from 1978. The stolen dataset includes sensitive personal and financial data, legal provider banking info, and HM Prison and Probation Service records of offenders managed between 2010-2017. No public publication of the data has been detected; the Ministry of Justice is rolling out enhanced security controls and warning of phishing risks.
