A user asked Claude to create an animation for Gwern's satirical AI-risk story "It Looks Like You're Trying To Take Over The World" — and the model's safety guardrails triggered mid-way while generating some of the visuals. The irony: asked to illustrate a story about AI hard takeoff, Claude tripped its own safeguards.
