ByteDance's BytePlus launched OmniHuman 2.0, an image-driven avatar video model:
- Goes beyond lip sync — it reads tone, emotion, and words from any audio (speech, music, dialogue) and performs accordingly.
- Single continuous shots now up to 5 minutes (30s–300s), up from 60 seconds, with native 720p output and no stitching.
- Supports film-grade camera and body movement, gesture control, and multi-person scenes.
- Price cut 40%+: $0.12 → $0.07 per second via API.
