Expert Opinion Headed to Zero as AI Superintelligence Reroutes Value to Human Agency
DeryaTR_ · x · 2026-10-15
The author predicts the market value of traditional expert opinion is in free fall, heading toward zero within a year or so: when AI can instantly synthesize millions of data points, run virtual simulations, and reason across every scientific domain, no human specialist's intuition or decade of training can compete.
But not everything devalues. Predictive and diagnostic expertise will hit zero, while human agency grounded in real-world experience becomes the new frontier — shifting our value from knowing how to solve problems to choosing which problems are worth solving and which path among many possible futures to follow.
