Bloomberg and FT report Anthropic's Q3 revenue reached $16.8B, with sequential growth falling from 147% to about 45% (roughly $4.8B in Q1 to $11.5B in Q2). Markets read the slowdown as bad news for AI chips and servers: the AI trade now needs Anthropic to prove its compute spending yields sustainable profit as growth cools. The company previously told investors it earns $1.70 per $1 of compute spent.
