The same agent workflow ran unchanged from Opus 4.6 through 5.0 and now 5.5, usually at high or xhigh effort, and the user audited their CLAUDE.md, memory files, and skills to rule out context bloat. They're asking whether others see Opus 5.5 burning noticeably more tokens per task and whether any setting has brought usage back down.
