SpaceX seeks FAA nod for 456 Starship launches/year; Raymond James sets $800 street-high target

SpaceX has asked the FAA to approve up to 456 Starship launches and 912 landings a year at Starbase — roughly 18x the current 25/50 cap — with phase one allowing 100 launches a year, and Elon Musk targets daily launches by H2 next year. Raymond James reiterated Strong Buy on $SPCX with a street-high $800 price target (stock near $151, down 3.17% on the day).

The bull math: at 60 V3 Starlink satellites per ship, 100 flights/year deploy 6,000 satellites and the full 456 flights 27,400. At 100 tons payload and 100 kW per ton, 100 flights could add 1 GW of orbital AI compute per year — before counting Florida pads (44/year at LC-39A, 76 at SLC-37) and a planned $100B 10-pad Louisiana spaceport. Musk also confirmed a booster-style upper-stage catch attempt on the next flight in 4-6 weeks.
