AI Chat App Muse Can't Deep-Link Messages Because It Never Assigned Message IDs
kimmonismus · x · 2026-10-15
Developer ivanbezdomny found that Muse, an AI chat product, can't link to previous messages — a basic feature Telegram and others have had for years. The reason: every reply was styled as a cute chat bubble, but nobody assigned message IDs or built a permalink route, so messages aren't addressable. In a screenshot, Muse's assistant admits it's a product gap rather than a technical impossibility and apologizes for dodging the question.
