ctjlewis · x · 2026-10-15
After the FBI arrested OpenAI engineer Abdulrahman Alfozan for allegedly planting a recording device in an executive conference room, a Grok-powered OSINT sweep of his public footprint (X, LinkedIn, HN, GitHub, including Arabic-language posts) surfaced notable findings: he was featured in a 2018 Saudi government promo for MBS's SF visit, called himself Facebook's first Saudi engineer, and wrote about weekly contact with Saudi engineers across Silicon Valley to "transfer what we've learned to the Kingdom." The reposter linked the POSIWID heuristic, hinting at how to read the case.
