Jev was a multimodal image model all along, just disabled via a 'Danger Zone' header
triviatroy · x · 2026-10-15
In a quoted post, CompleteSkeptic reveals (amplified by triviatroy) that the Jev model has been multimodal from the start: its image capabilities were always there, but the team disabled them because models tend to be less intelligent on other modalities. Re-enabling is done via a custom request header, TypeSafe-Danger-Zone-Images: true, framing image input as a user-beware 'danger zone' option.
