Doubao adds infinite canvas: a one-tool workflow for motion videos and PPTs
AI寒武纪 · wechat · 2026-10-15
A hands-on walkthrough of Doubao Workspace's newly launched "infinite canvas," which puts image and video generation (Seedance 2.5, Seedream 5.0 Pro) on one unbounded panel where any generated asset can be reused as a reference with one click.
The author shares a complete workflow: generate reference frames on the canvas, then invoke a Remotion skill with a detailed "Apple-style motion design" prompt (covering visual system, shot design, easing, and BPM-based music selection) to render a 1-minute motion video. Tasks run on a cloud PC, so you can shut down your machine and continue from the mobile app. The author recommends generating cheap reference assets first rather than letting Seedance roll 15-second clips directly, saving both time and cost.
The same assets can feed into PPT generation, including AI-edited images and embedded videos. Caveat: Feishu's PPT API blocks video/audio uploads, so Doubao uses a "cover + cloud drive link" workaround; a real embedded player requires inserting the video manually from the drive. Existing users can claim a second 30-day membership perk.
