Gary Marcus responds to a tweet saying neurosymbolic winning "should've been obvious in hindsight" by showing receipts: he has explicitly advocated hybrids of symbolic AI and neural networks since 1992, and again in 2001, 2012, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and beyond. His gripe: people who haven't done three seconds of homework keep making memes mocking him over it.
