Gartner says 80% of neoclouds will die by 2030 — investor argues it's a supply problem, not demand

CoreWeave shares collapsed after Gartner predicted 80% of neoclouds will evaporate by 2030. Investor JOBhakdi argues Gartner is right about the outcome but wrong on the cause: demand isn't the problem — enterprises could easily spend $8T on AI — the bottleneck is that neoclouds can't convert capital into compute supply, as building gigawatt-scale datacenters is extremely hard. He predicts SpaceX will dominate the industry by 2030 via space-based compute and its terrestrial buildout capability.
