Reinforcement learning and deep learning researcher @canondetortugas announced they will join UC Berkeley in January 2027 as an assistant professor in EECS and Statistics, recruiting PhD students and postdocs this cycle for Fall 2027. Berkeley professor Csaba Szepesvári and others congratulated them.
