TextFold turns any text into 5 pinch-to-zoom layers, from section map to verbatim
Lopsided_Scarcity979 · reddit · 2026-10-15
A developer released TextFold, an open-source tool to reduce the cognitive burden of AI-generated long text: it converts any document into 5 zoomable layers, from a one-screen section map down to verbatim text. Pinch or press keys 1–5 to move between layers without losing your reading position — useful for agentic output, papers, and long documents.
A web demo is live, and the code is Apache 2.0 licensed on GitHub. The screenshot shows an arXiv paper with Full/Brief/Key/Takeaway/Topic levels plus an "Ask the paper" button.
