TextFold: open-source "semantic zoom" folds any text into 5 zoomable layers
Lopsided_Scarcity979 · reddit · 2026-10-15
Developer chenxiachan released TextFold, built to reduce the cognitive burden of reading endless AI-generated text: it folds any text — agentic output, papers, documents — into 5 zoomable layers, from a one-screen section map down to verbatim text. You pinch or press keys 1–5 to zoom between layers without losing your reading position. The project is Apache 2.0 licensed, with a web demo and GitHub repo available; feedback is welcome.
