Sacks rebuts Anthropic's small-model AI worm report: the experiments don't hold up

David Sacks pushed back on Anthropic's new report warning that small models could self-replicate across cheap IoT devices as an unkillable AI worm. He notes the experiments ran a 26B model on 15 $55 TV boxes at 0.39 tokens/sec, used emulated devices with deliberately open ADB ports, and offloaded the capable model to a separate server. Beff Jezos frames it bluntly: small models threaten the frontier lab business model, not your toaster.
