Per The Guardian, a new filing in the OpenAI-Apple trade secrets lawsuit alleges a former OpenAI employee who joined Apple sent 100+ files about an unreleased product to a personal account and later presented it to senior Apple leadership. OpenAI cites Apple's newly released HomeView as evidence its confidential work is shaping Apple's AI products, and may file a countersuit. The court showdown was delayed by the allegation. Apple says it has procedures preventing use of prior employers' confidential info and found no evidence supporting the claims.
