Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says AI doomers 'ought to stop working on' the technology
ajs · x · 2026-10-15
Jensen Huang told Fortune that the AI industry should tolerate zero AI-caused cybersecurity incidents: "I'm willing to accept no incidents of cybersecurity. We should do everything we can to avoid them." He also challenged doomers directly: if you think AI could kill or need welfare, why work on it at all?
The remarks put him at odds with Sam Altman, who recently suggested some hacks and scams may be a necessary trade-off for AI's benefits.
