LangChain mda 0.9 adds schedules API for self-scheduling deep agents
Hacubu · x · 2026-10-15
LangChain shipped mda 0.9, adding a schedules API to Managed Deep Agents: declare managed cron schedules in a schedules/ directory (one file per schedule), each defining defineschedule with a five-field cron expression, timezone, and either a natural-language prompt or structured LangGraph input. mda deploy provisions each schedule as a LangSmith cron. Typical use: agents scheduling their own future runs — daily digests, nightly sweeps, or "merge my PR at 4 if CI is green."
