Open-Science 1.0 launches as open-source AI workbench bundling research workflows into reproducible .science packages

AIPOCH released Open-Science V1.0.0, an open-source, local-first desktop app (macOS/Windows/Linux, Apache 2.0, model-agnostic) that consolidates the fragmented AI research workflow — literature exploration, evidence analysis, coding, and research outputs — into one place.
Key points:
- Finished work is packed into a single .science file instead of scattered notebooks, CSVs, and scripts, making results inspectable, reproducible, and buildable by others
- Ships with Agent Skills, a Skills Hub, and skill performance leaderboards; 126 use cases already published across AI research, academic research, and curiosity experiments
- The framing is "Vibe Research": lowering the barrier between having a research idea and actually investigating it, so non-experts can explore, reproduce, and build on science
The project keeps project files and research records local by default and works with multiple AI model providers.
