Anthropic launches free AI fluency courses for K-12 educators on Coursera, built with Teach For America and AFT
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-15
Anthropic released two free Coursera courses for teachers with no prior AI training: AI Fluency for pK-12 Educators (4 hours, built with Teach For America, covers adapting teaching materials while protecting student data) and a Train the Trainer companion (built with the American Federation of Teachers, includes facilitator guide, slides and grade-band exercises). Both use Anthropic's 4D Framework and are part of 10 new free courses, with more planned monthly. Advice for leads: take the course yourself, then pick one real weekly task for your first staff session.
