Cloudflare's Clef decision models land on Merge Gateway with 39ms median latency
shensi · x · 2026-10-15
Cloudflare's new Clef decision model family is now available via Merge Gateway. In Cloudflare's own tests, Clef beat comparison model Jev on 3 of 4 workflow evals, with Clef-flash answering at a median 39ms.
The models target fast decision tasks like routing tickets, flagging risky uploads, or picking an agent's next step — a low-latency judgment layer for agent workflows.
