Claude Code Desktop adds multi-session hub with live statuses; OpenAI shelved a rival 'magic notepad'

Anthropic shipped a new "Claude Hub" experience for Claude Code Desktop: a sessions hub on the main screen plus live session statuses in the nav bar, letting users start, track, manage, and follow up on multiple sessions at once. It had been in testing through several iterations. Notably, testingcatalog reports OpenAI had planned a similar "magic notepad" experience but abandoned it. Heavy Claude Code users should give it a try.
