Shopify will let any AI agent browse and purchase from its catalog of over 1 billion listings. Shoppers connect an agent via the Shop app, check out with one-click Shop Pay, and can set rules like budget guardrails, with human confirmation required — expanding beyond the earlier Meta Muse partnership.
