SciVeri-Bench recruits scientists to build a benchmark for AI agents' open-ended research verification
AkariAsai · x · 2026-10-15
SciVeri-Bench is a deploy-first, scientist-driven benchmark evaluating whether AI agents can verify scientific quality on open-ended, novel research tasks — the way domain scientists do, rather than chasing leaderboard scores. After showcasing v0.1 at Snorkel AI's Frontier Data Summit, the team is collecting tasks from scientists across disciplines to build v1.0, motivated by the gap that end-to-end scientific agents excel on well-scoped optimization but open-ended research evaluation remains unsolved. Sign-up is open via a public form.
