Claude Platform ships OTel traces in beta; CoreWeave Agent Lens ingests natively
altryne · x · 2026-10-15
Anthropic announced Claude Platform in public beta, capable of sending OpenTelemetry traces from the Messages API, Claude Managed Agents, and Claude SDKs to your observability stack. CoreWeave's Agent Lens (W&B Weave) natively supports OTel: no SDK needed — just point your OTLP exporter at Weave's /agents/otel/v1/traces endpoint (POST, protobuf, gzip/deflate supported) and authenticate with a Forge API key via Bearer or Basic auth. Works with opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-proto-http (Python) and @opentelemetry/exporter-trace-otlp-proto (TypeScript), routing Claude traces straight into Forge's purpose-built agents view.
