GitHub Actions Ships Workflow Lockfiles in Public Preview for Supply-Chain Safety
bengotch · hn · 2026-10-14
GitHub announced workflow lockfiles for GitHub Actions, now in public preview (Oct 14, 2026). The feature lets teams lock workflow dependencies to prevent accidental or malicious modification of workflows — a meaningful addition to CI/CD supply-chain security for the many teams that rely on Actions for builds and deploys.
