Job-search MCP built with Claude Code: 83 interviews per 100 paying users, 2M live roles

Cojj25 · reddit · 2026-10-15

Dreamwork, a job-search platform competing with Indeed (12,000 users, half from Reddit), shipped an MCP server after users kept asking to run it inside Claude. With one connector, Claude can search 2M roles pulled from employer career pages, rank them against your resume, write tailored resumes and cover letters, submit applications on Workday/Greenhouse/Lever sites, and check back for recruiter replies — with autopilot for fully automated applying.

In the 30 days to Oct 8, users got 90+ interview requests at 87 companies, 80+ from Dreamwork's apply engine; autopilot users average 83 interviews per 100 paying users. Claude Code wrote nearly all of the MCP (v2 was a 12-PR series in a day; OAuth-hosted version live four days later), and the non-technical founder has authored 200+ PRs. Trust design: reads and writes on by default, submission off until granted on the consent screen. Search and notifications are free; automated submissions are paid. MIT-licensed client: npx -y @dreamworkhq/mcp.
