Bing Webmaster Tools launches Topics Portfolio to map your site's presence in AI Search

Microsoft launched a beta feature called Topics Portfolio inside Bing Webmaster Tools' AI Performance report. It groups the grounding queries where a site appears in AI Search (Copilot and web grounding partners) into thematic clusters such as football, taxes, or AI chatbots.
Each topic comes with ecosystem metrics:
- Topic Size: approximate total citations across all sites, indicating AI Search demand
- Sites Cited: how many sites appear for the topic, a competitiveness measure
- Personalized opportunity queries showing where a site can grow
Everything is personalized to the site's own AI Search presence rather than a generic ecosystem list, helping webmasters understand and optimize how their content contributes to AI-generated answers.
