Zhu Jun, co-founder of Shengshu Technology and Tsinghua professor, has been named a 2026 CCF-ACM AI Award recipient, recognizing his contributions to probabilistic machine learning, diffusion models, and multimodal generation. He previously holds IEEE, AAAI, and ACM Fellow titles and founded Shengshu in 2023, building the Vidu video model on the team's original U-ViT architecture.

The company also detailed his L1-L5 world model roadmap: L1 world generation, L2 interacting with the world, L3 acting in the world, L4 autonomous world agents, L5 world organizer. Current products map to L1-L3 — Vidu Q for video generation/API, Vidu S for real-time responsive generation, and world action models Motubrain/Motus for embodied intelligence — with AGI as the long-term goal.
