PenX ports open-source AI pentesting assistant to Windows, runs on local LLMs with no API fees

A developer ported METATRON, an open-source Linux security recon assistant, to Windows 10/11 as PenX: a single terminal UI integrating Nmap, WhatWeb, Nikto, WHOIS/DNS, and HTTP header analysis, with PDF/HTML report export and scan history stored in local SQLite (no MariaDB needed).
The highlight is local AI: connect Ollama or LM Studio and let whatever model you run analyze scan results, flag potential security issues, and suggest fixes — no OpenAI subscription or paid API required. A Windows installer handles the Python environment and external tools, and PyInstaller can build a standalone exe. MIT-licensed, for authorized security testing and educational use only.
