Claude desktop 2.37337.1 drops 'Group by' option, scattering sessions across environments
kmk2649-byte · ghdev · 2026-10-15
- A bug report on anthropics/claude-code (#102088) says the desktop app 2.37337.1 removed project-based session grouping in the Code tab sidebar; sessions are now grouped only by environment (This computer, Cloud, SSH, Slack).
- The 'Group by' filter option is gone entirely, so users can't switch back to grouping by GitHub repo — a regression following the earlier removal of the project filter in 1.22209.0.
- Impact: developers working across multiple repos now find sessions scattered across environment groups. The reporter asks for the 'Group by → Project' option to be restored and persisted.
