SPC offers $200K uncapped checks to fund non-consensus moonshot founders
adityaag · x · 2026-10-15
SPC is running a new experiment: $200K on uncapped terms to a handful of "unapologetically maximalist" thinkers pursuing genuinely out-there ideas. The rationale: technological progress has never been this rapid, yet capital keeps flowing to consensus teams, markets, and terms.
In a follow-up, the firm argues the capital stack needs rewriting — a nuclear company shouldn't raise the same seed round as an AI app. The $200K is framed as no-downside fuel to explore a hard problem, after which SPC helps founders shape the right downstream raise.
