Ian Buck took the stage at OCP Global Summit 2026 with a slate of AI factory announcements:
- NVIDIA Vera: claimed 2x performance for agentic AI, built for sustained AI execution at scale; slides show 2x on HPC Golden Suite, 3.5x on Apache Kafka, and 1.8-2.2x across data/graph analytics, code compilation, and HPC vs Grace.
- NVIDIA DSX: advances OCP-compatible AI factories with grid resilience, more compute per megawatt, and simpler operations, including new DSX spec contributions.
- MGX 1.2: third-generation specs contributed to the Open Compute Project — a factory-scale, high-density, liquid-cooled architecture designed for easy assembly and maintenance.
