Inference Now Optimizable to 1/100th the Cost for Repetitive Workflows
tokenbender · x · 2026-10-15
The author argues inference-side optimization has become insane: the more repetitive your workflow, the more cost you can squeeze — down to about 1/100th of previous cost, at realtime speeds near human-perception limits.
He adds that the research/builder community hasn't priced this in: most posts still compete on tok/s and memory footprint, which he finds the least exciting part of what's now possible. The small-model world has changed forever.
