Algorithm of Learning, founded by Annie Chen, has launched Gakku, an AI tutoring tool for ages 6 to 16. At its center is Raku, a personal AI companion that guides writing, speaking, and critical thinking through real-time voice, visuals, and structured Lesson Maps — a clear design stance on how AI should help a stuck kid.
