Gakku launches as an AI learning coach for ages 6-16, built to keep kids thinking
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-15
Algorithm of Learning, founded by Annie Chen, publicly launched Gakku, an AI learning coach for ages 6-16 built around Raku, a personal AI companion that guides writing, speaking, and critical thinking via real-time voice, visuals, and structured Lesson Maps.
Design philosophy: a prompt expresses intention, and as AI gets stronger, forming ideas, articulating them, judging replies, and redirecting the system matter more — so the product is a coach that keeps learners in the thinking process. Available on iPad, iPhone, Android, and web.
