Per Bloomberg, Digital Realty is offering every De Soto, Kansas household up to $1,000 a year for 10 years in property tax or utility credits, funded by a $20M community fund ($2M/year, enough for 2,000 full credits in a town of 7,000), before its data center has full approval. Rival developer Beale Infrastructure has already committed $9.4M for water-related measures.
