Grok Imagine rolls out Music panel to generate lyric-included soundtracks for AI video clips

Creators report a new Music (Original Audio) panel rolling out in Grok Imagine on the web since October 13. Pick an existing video, describe genre, mood, instruments and tempo, and the tool writes a track with lyrics—then lets you trim it on a timeline, drop it under your clip, and save it to a reusable library.
xAI has published no changelog or model card; the backend model is unknown and rollout is phased. Suggested workflow: make a 10-second clip, generate three soundtrack versions with different mood words, pick the one matching your locked cut, and note which prompt word changed the feel most.
