A consortium including Dongyang Shenkong Yinqing (indirectly wholly owned by ByteDance) and Volcano Engine won a ¥230M ($32M) bid to build the Hengdian Film AI Service Platform, delivered over 3 years. The project centers on a film-industry LLM with 7 vertical fine-tuned models and 20 specialized models covering scripting, storyboards, digital actors, sound, costumes, and VFX, plus 9+ high-quality datasets (50B+ pretraining tokens, 1M+ instruction-tuning samples) and 99.5% peak availability requirements. It follows Volcano Engine's ¥3M Seedance token procurement deal with Beijing Radio & TV.
