Dev with zero game experience builds SF street shooter with Codex in a weekend, $300 ad sales

A developer who had never made a game built Tenderloin: Night Shift in one weekend with Codex and @NanoCorpHQ: a browser multiplayer zombie shooter set on the real SF streets of Eddy & Jones. Free, no install, up to 4-player co-op at 60fps, with the map faithfully recreating the actual intersection (out to Ellis, Turk, Leavenworth and Taylor) plus many Easter eggs. It has already earned $300 in ad sales.
Gameplay is Call of Duty zombies style: hold the block, kill shamblers for points, buy ammo at the kiosk, and post solo runs to a leaderboard. The thread also drew heavy criticism for turning the Tenderloin neighborhood into a zombie-shooter backdrop.
