Testing frontier models on ThreeJS scenes: Argon detailed but needs heavy hand-holding
dreamwieber · x · 2026-10-15
The author tested multiple models on generating ThreeJS 3D scenes. Argon produced more detailed output, but the pieces were all floating, and it required a lot of hand-holding—repeatedly forgetting it was building a ThreeJS scene and trying to generate images or videos instead. Astra finished first and easily rendered an MP4 when asked, but its design was implausible and lacked detail, below its usual 3D standards.
