A bug report (issue #52877) in openai/codex: after updating to OpenAI.Codex 26.1007.2314.0 on Windows, the auto-hidden taskbar no longer appears when the mouse hits the bottom screen edge while Codex is maximized.
- Repro: enable taskbar auto-hide → maximize Codex → taskbar won't reveal; restoring the window fixes it, other apps unaffected
- Environment: Windows 11 25H2 (build 26200.8037)
- A similar prior report exists (#45369); root cause not yet identified
