The Vector Institute announced that the Vector Scholarship in AI (VSAI) will increase to a $21,000 entrance award for the 2027–28 academic year, granted to top incoming students across 30 Vector-recognized master's programs in Ontario.
Beyond funding, recipients gain:
- Digital Talent Hub hiring access — a curated gateway to internships and full-time roles at enterprises and scaling startups
- 1:1 IMPACT Mentorship from senior data scientists and ML engineers at top Canadian organizations
- Priority access to Vector's AI Summit, career fair, and private networking events
Students cannot apply directly: Ontario university programs nominate their top admitted applicants in the new year, so applicants should connect with graduate program administrators early.
