Merge Gateway's weekly Intelligence Index (week of Oct 12) shows Meta's Muse Wonder completing tasks in 6.8 minutes on average with a 52.4 score — roughly half the latency of Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 (13.2 min, 57.6) and Sonnet 5.5 (15.3 min, 56.0), the two top-scoring models.
Muse Spark 1.3 and OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra follow at 8.1 minutes. Alexandr Wang amplified the launch, calling Muse Wonder "super fast and token efficient." Merge pitches its gateway as a router: send latency-sensitive requests to fast models and hard ones to stronger models behind one endpoint.
