tldraw plugin runs embeddable canvases inside ChatGPT, with app logic drawn as statecharts

tldraw announced that its ChatGPT plugin can now run embeds inside the conversation. In the demo, Astra renders an ESP32 pet cat app on the canvas with its behavior drawn as a statechart underneath, so the logic can be checked before being flashed to hardware.
Developer @maxdrake added why canvas-based design beats pure chat: the canvas is a durable artifact you can refer back to when interrogating how something works, instead of scrolling back through chat history. A concrete reference for the conversation-plus-canvas software design workflow.
