Ethereum Foundation's zkAPI Adopted by Multiple APIs for Private AI Payments
DavideCrapis · x · 2026-10-14
zkAPI, built by Open Anonymity with the Ethereum Foundation, is being independently adopted by more APIs for private payments.
- Users deposit ETH once, generate keys via zero-knowledge proofs, and hand a key to their agent.
- Agent requests can't be linked back to the depositing wallet, enabling unlinkable API calls.
- The scheme also supports live private chat.
Marco DeRossi said he used MetaMask to confidentially pay for decision models with zero-knowledge, integrating zkAPI into Sage. The ethereum/zkapi repo has 56 stars, 13 forks and 199 commits.
