Mirelo SFX 2.0 wins blind tests, preferred over Sony Woosh in 81% of matchups

Mirelo published blind listening test results for its SFX 2.0 video-to-sound model:

• Vs. other video-to-SFX models: chosen in 81% of matchups against Sony's Woosh, 63% against Kling-Foley, and 46% against Sonilo.
• Vs. native video-model audio: preferred on average over the built-in audio of Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 Fast, MiniMax H3 Max, Flux 3 and Kling, with a 57% preference over Veo 3.1 Fast.
• Method: 25 raters judged 30 videos per comparison on audio quality and audio-visual match.

The upshot: its generated effects, foley and ambience track on-screen action better than video models' native audio.
